: Sorry my sources weren't high enough
: standard for you. Perhaps "ascended
: master Jesus" is more acceptable and
: authoritative" ??..
:
: Your source was Wikipedia, Pete, and you
: extrapolated from that.

If you're aware Wikipedia is so erroneous regarding Spalding Faz, perhaps you should seek to update his entry with your superior knowledge.

: You provide no
: evidence that the church condemns Spalding
: in particular or even regarded his writing
: at all, let alone negatively.

No and I never set out to do this. I have provided evidence the Church condemns New Age ideas and as I just pointed out to Alex* Spalding was a member of and his writings inspired by the New Thought movement, a group that taught ideas that our now espoused by modern "New Age" proponents.

:
: His beliefs and practices are also New Age
: belief and practices. That's the fault. The
: name for these erroneous beliefs and
: practices may change over time but the same
: errant thinking and behaviour is expressed.
:
: In your opinion. You may be right.

As I have shown above, it's not just my "opinion".

:
: My problem is the "inner voice"
: referred is quite possibly "ascended
: master Jesus" or some other demonic
: entity.
:
: Quite possibly?
:
: I guess that's a "matter of
: opinion".
:
: Yep. Now you're getting it.
:
:

Hmmm you apparently didn't GET the full message there or you've selectively and creatively quoted?? (Surely you wouldn't do THAT Faz ??)

Let's try it again...

:My problem is the "inner voice" referred is :quite possibly "ascended master Jesus" or some :other demonic entity.

:
: Interestingly, Freemasonry, which you seem
: eager to defend, is also shown to be deeply
: Gnostic.
:
: Clearly Alex doesn't share your views about
: Freemasonry, Pete, but I see no evidence
: that he's 'eager to defend' it. AKA the bit you left out or didn't GET!
:

: I guess that's a "matter of opinion".

So to clarify I'm saying it's a matter of opinion whether Alex is eager to defend Freemasonry. Get it?

Pete
