and cons. JamieShow are definitely my favorites, followed by AD Genes, then the ones that usually have a mirrored base from amazon.
I do not like kaiser stands (waist stands)
And I loathe (sorry RT) all stands, particularly Tonner and some of the newer high-end resin doll stands, that do not screw into the base somehow.
I have been bonked in the foot so durn many times, way beyond counting. Plus lost shoes, and forget getting the perfect pose and trying to move the doll.
I prefer the telescoping stands that have a method of 'fixing' the stand to the exact height you need based on the heel of the shoes the doll is wearing.
And OMG, those older Tonner stands that went up the butt with the hole in the pantyhose!!! yuck.
I get how some might prefer a stand that separates to be better able to get up a tight skirt, but I've never really had a problem with that, just takes a bit of time and being careful for me.
Beats getting bonked in the foot with the base or having to crawl under furniture when one escapes and hides from you

I keep looking for stands. It's been hard to find ones that I like.

I love the JS stands with the screw. Really the best stand there is.

I grab the JS w/screws 1st; have one custom stand that wraps 1 leg; doesn't show @ crotch!

Some of the JS stands have that screw, so you can stabilize the height ...

Then later stands didn't have the feature, which meant that they were way less stable. I remember at an event someone asking George why the locking feature wasn't on the stands any more, and he said the stands hadn't changed. With the locking feature it's a great stand, since the post is way less obtrusive.

I do recall getting a couple that did not have the height screw, but all the ones I have bought >>>

separately in the last few years have it. All the ones that came with the dolls these past few years have too. I seem to recall the ones without were for only a year or so's run, and I know George heard people were not happy about it. I just went and checked the new ones I got about 6 months or so ago, still unopened and they all have the height adjustment screw.
