It made me consider the choices people are forced to make during occupation. Would I have liked more detail regarding the fashion itself; sure. I would have loved a greater amount and more accurate information about Theatre de la Mode. But I don’t think the point of this limited series was the fashion, it was the effects of war and moving on from them. That said, this was the first time I’d ever seen the the Bar Suit in motion and am glad I got to appreciate that suit in an entirely new way. |
