Sandra gave an interesting presentation on Walter Plunkett, the costume designer for GWTW.
And then she revealed the tour dress—for attendees who went on today’s tour. It’s inspired by a Madame Gres design. I’ll get a better photo tomorrow!
Normally, there would be a second unboxing, and we would receive our first convention fashion. Unfortunately, most fashions haven’t arrived yet—although a shipment is supposed to arrive tomorrow. Fingers crossed!
That’s also the reason why there were only three fashions displayed today. Everything else is stuck or on its way. What a shame! It’s always amazing to see dozens of gorgeous fashions at each meal event. Sandra warned us that there would be fewer fashions this year. But I’m sure that they’ll be some beautiful things to look forward to!
There’s a showing of GWTW tonight, but I’m too tired.
Fortunately, tomorrow is another day! 😉 And we’ll be heading out in the morning for a behind the scenes tour of the Fox Theatre, followed by lunch at the the famous Mary Mac’s Tea Room.
There next event will be dinner at 7:30pm, celebrating Joanne Woodward.
So I’ll report again tomorrow night!
