They are probably restricted in what music they can play, there will be copyright issues. Discord does have some agreements with Spotify and Amazon Music, but the end user needs premium accounts to access that feature.

Personally I would not make an account with yet another data sucking social media platform. They should have set up a server of their own on Sealand, then they wouldn't be troubled by petty copyright regs
