One could easily forgive him for squandering things in the late 60s as he was young and it was a whirlwind time, however it's absolutely unforgivable that he also squandered the mother of all comebacks around 1989 when he got to take over Sounds of the 60s on Radio 2, he could have had that show for the rest of his life had he behaved himself
