To endlessly and obsessively research this is veering towards Hagger territory.
All the major players such as Jocelyn Stevens, Ian Ross, Chris Moore, Alan Crawford are dead, as are any politicians with inside information. Georgie fame would not comment when asked and even if Ronan was still with us he would not tell the story in case it compromised him in some way.
Even if an absolute truth was discovered,so what? The events happened a lifetime ago.
I'm more interested in the here and now.
