The connection between Georgie Fame and Ronan O'Rahilly became public in August 1973 (unless anyone proves me wrong). There is a picture of Georgie Fame in a advert for Radio Caroline in December 1966. In the press release 28/3/64 it mentioned it was 18 months from Ronan O'Rahillys idea. At that time Ronan O'Rahilly was a novice record plugger, (with other sources of income). The Radio Luxembourg and BBC story probably is true. However naming the Georgie Fame record is wrong. To fit the timeline, in Disc newspaper, August 25 1962, they reviewed a release by Perry Ford and the Sapphires. Baby baby- Decca F11497 with credits to the Blue Flames, which obviously Georgie Fame was a member. Many people may not know this, the song CAROLINE is credited to Hillier and Ford (Perry) Scottg.
