There are for sure thousands of internet stations. so one more or one less less and whether they prosper or fail is no big issue.
This said I just looked at Radio Atlantis which has no schedule, no presenters and has not updated its news page for eight months at which time it announced that it was to advertise Bonzo Dog pet food or whatever.
This seems like an ignominious end or situation for a station that started with the ambition to be the biggest radio station on the planet by 'reaching out to four billion people '.
The only downer I have on Atlantis and Cyber Radio as it was before was that the operators on deciding to launch a station, decided also that they would call it Radio Caroline.
What was surprising is the impression that the actual radio Caroline would say ' Oh,OK then '.
It is like, on a much tinier scale, when Putin invaded Ukraine and was astonished when the Ukranians fought back.
I had to tolerate being ridiculed on the Atlantis/Cyber site as ' Peter Weathermoore ' or ' Malcolm The Anorak '.
But now that it seems to have all come to nothing aside from costing Radio Caroline much wasted time and a lot of money, I just wonder what it was all for other than a Walter Mitty fantasy.
