On the way to West Ham football I sometimes walk via the canal to get to the London stadium and see an AM aerial which I assume is the 1332khz one for Premier radio at Bow.
However as part of my anorak duties today I noticed that 1332 was not receivable from Hornchurch and from memory I think it’s been off for sometime. It’s listed on the Ofcom website. I assume no one is interested in revoking or tidying up paperwork as it’s AM and the licence expires in 28 and may mutually not be renewed as Ofcom are not advertising AM licences. Just curious if anyone knows why it’s not on. To be fair the other two AM frequencies cover London adequately, plus if you were a listener you’d do it via other methods as electrical interference is intolerable unless very powerful.
