828 was already in use in Netherlands in 1993, by Gero Vonks small 1kW station (City Radio) near Rotterdam. Its upgrading was one of the jobs that my company (Worldwide Broadcast Consultants) took on for Nozema. We replaced its short 30m pole with a much taller 92m mast (300 feet) then fitted with a sloper to protect the station to the west (Chiltern). Oh, and a nice beefy Harris DX to drive it; a unit that is still on the air, as Caroline on 648.
