We USED to have friends that were constantly bragging about how much their latest car cost.
Name dropping about the restaurants they ate in.
How much they paid for the meals.
How much they paid to have their house repainted.
Queried why we are "make do and mend" people when they throw away and buy new and how much their latest lawn mower cost etc ,etc.

I say "USED" to have friends because they bored the crap out of us and our true friends they are now avoided .
Just saying .
