Johnny, your cynical comments are way, way wrong. You seem to be assuming that this is another Borg station (Bauer / Global / Wireless). Its NOT.

Manx Radio is loved by the team and the IoM Government team who back it. They are trying desperately to make it survive and justify it getting (Manx) taxpayers money.

(And for those who know bugger all about radio, a quick lesson. Mclendon and others have proven continuously since the 1950s, that the way to BUILD audience is to reduce the size of the playlist to son gs that people like. Trying to force feed them unknown stuff, and educate them is the best way to get them to tune elsewhere. (It can be proven with many European examples, but I'm typo much of a gentleman, and dont like agitating people)
