The Eagle KGV is not a bad model, but it is a generic model of the class as they appeared later in the war.

The model can be improved to represent both KGV and PoW by:

1. the removal of the boat deck between the two superstructure blocks and installation of a catapult;
2. the relocation of the boats on the after superstructure block
3. the replacement of the main gun turrets from the Revell kit
4. the replacement of the rangefinder moulding on the Eagle with the Revell moulding.
5. the addition of an armoured belt on the hull sides. This alone improves the Eagle model no end.

Doing this will result in a decent 'look-alike' KGV or PoW.

A more scale-based upgrade will entail a huge amount of work!
