I found this model yesterday while browsing in the local antiques centre.

The seller had labelled it as "Postwar rehab model" which may or may not be relevant.

The model is 1/1200 scale and made of wood. It's secured in the cardboard box by white fabric tapes which appear never to have been undone.

There are no surviving labels. There might be something on the hull bottom? But to check would mean removing the tapes which I'm reluctant to do.

Any ideas about date, manufacturer etc. would be welcomed.
