Re: New and Old models at Antics
|
As a follow up to this post, parcels have arrived at Antics from Albatros and Rhenania. The brand new Albatros models are Canadian ships: two versions of modernised Halifax-class frigates, Montreal in grey (Alk670) and Calgary in camouflage (Alk670A-S). This last model is a limited edition, so Antics might not be able to get more of these. Montreal is one of the seven ships based in Halifax, Nova Scotia and Calgary is one of the five based in the Pacific. If I am not a victim of fake news, F334 was also painted in the same pattern as Calgary. The other model from Albatros is the Louis S. St Laurent, the Icebreaker Coastguard Ship that was the flagship of the Coastguard Service for the twenty years to 2021. The Twelve Fifty model from Rhenania is the Italian Landing Ship, Trieste, L9890, model number TF14. The three models of the Volganeft river tankers, Rhe 191A, B and C, represent the liveries for 2007, 2017 and 2024 (dates corresponding to serious incidents in the long service lives of these ships).
