Those of you who came to last month's Ship Shows will have seen some vintage Triang/Hornby/Minic Boxed Presentation Sets. These included a M891 RMS Queen Elizabeth Presentation Set from around 1960, NOT "Mint Boxed" but described by one dealer as "As Good As It Gets" for it's age. I have now checked that all the boxes have the correct castings in the right boxes and am working my way through the photography to enter the models into the Collector's Corner section of Waterline Ships. Rhenania Junior parcel arrived on Friday at the Antics Warehouse and this contains some more RJ by PP models of Algonqin and Armidale class frigates plus more Glen Sannox as well as other Calmacs. Brand New are Rolldock Storm with red gantry crane load, Rolldock Star with two deck levens and no load, blue and or yellow gantry cranes for loads and quaysides, a Boa Barge semi submersible and separate ELOMED loads so that you can build a miniature windfarm.
Antics have paid the ransom for a Rhenania delivery next week. This includes Twelve Fifty models and the Russian river tankers that were wrecked in Black Sea storms around a year ago.
