I got my first Navis model in 1964. When I started my Saratoga Model Shipyard line in 1997 my goal was to make models as compatible with Neptun/Navis as possible. I was honored to have Rudi and Egbert do my casting for over a decade, and Rudi even used one of my masters to make a variant for the Navis N line. For me, Rudi was a friend, mentor and partner.
