The picture of AL209a on Sammelhafen shows the vessel with a dark grey hull and light grey superstructure and dates it as 1937.

ALK124 is dated as 1940 (the year of Orama's loss as a troopship) on Sammelhafen. There is no picture, but searching the internet throws up an old listing on Antics, which also shows the vessel with dark grey hull and light grey superstructure.

As Dave says, there doesn't appear to be any difference between the models; so why did Albatros apparently release two identical models, are there tiny differences not shown in either pic, or has sammelhafen/Antics got it wrong?

Any ideas?
