None the less, you have addressed the problems as best as could be hoped for. The deck is a bit too blue perhaps but not a big deal. Get a few period a/c on deck and that will compensate for the physical items too. Beautiful job.

Try the Shapeways straight deck Hancock from early 50's if you have time. Not cheap but easily available versus the SpiderNavy which the average modeller will never see and could not afford anyway.
