Seeking an experienced small rider for Arthur!
12.3/13hh narrow build mini cob with bags of character.
Arthur isn't a novice ride, he is bombproof but needs an experienced rider. Can get over excited and prancey. Forward, but nothing dangerous. He is fun to ride and loves long hacks over the lakeland fells.

The ideal rider should be...
*Under 10.5 stone maximum. And 5'5 or shorter. Even a 5'3 rider looks very tall on him, so shorter the better.
*experienced rider.
*available at least twice a week, and be quite flexible on days as he's needs riding out with our other two ponies. Ideally available some weekdays morn or afternoon. Occasional weekend days. Unfortunately workers mon-fri 9-5 just doesn't fit our schedule sorry as we want to keep the ponies hacking as a 3. Reliability is important as he needs regular rides.
*own transport to Staveley a must.
*no children riders.
*help with daily duties. Poo picking, hay in winter, tack cleaning etc.
*very small financial contribution towards essentials (fly spray, new tack, treats etc) as and when needed.
*public liability insurance. Starts around £70+ per year.

When we hack, especially through summer we often like to do long rides. For example 16 miles over 5 hours with picnic stops. We'd love someone like minded to enjoy long chilled rides with. Although most days it's 1-3hr rides on average. We have lots of fun, love a good gallop and popping small jumps! We are very relaxed and out to enjoy ourselves and our ponies.
