My friend's front ramp literally fell off her 2011 trailer recently (!) fortunately whilst she was stationary at a show - if the hinges have got BLACK powder coating they are very susceptible to corrosion so give them a good prod with a screwdriver to check - if they are galvanised you are ok. we checked our 2008 trailer yesterday and it is faulty. We knew nothing about this. It is a known fault with Ivor Williams and some 506 and 511 trailers have it so it's definately worth checking.
