places by using oversized culverts, downspouts, drainage ditches etc. and parts of TX are sandy soil which really helps. Tho parts are black gumbo which turns to glue and sucks your boots off!!!!!

I learned early on that you cannot change where the water wants to go. You must accept it and allow for it.
