those things. They are unbelievable. You can hear them coming and they ARE gonna hurt you!!! or your horse!!! I caught many on sticky fly tape and got a close look. That stinger is huge too!!!

Moving from TX to OHIO, when I saw those things, my first thought was: Everything is NOT bigger in TX!!!!


I had one sweet horse who turned into a raving maniac whenever one of those was after him. I had to jump off (appendix tall horse - long way to the ground! He would throw himself DOWN and roll!
