I live 100 miles from the coast but when Ivan hit here at 1 am the winds were still 135+ MPH and I went out in my front yard just to see if I could stand up in it and that storm nearly blew me away , after I finaly made my way back in the house I went to bed and at daybreak I went outside and my metal carport was blown over in my neighbors yard and I had 3 huge trees in my back yard pulled out of the ground by the roots.
