are other ways to help. it's REALLY IMPORTANT that we get some control over this president while we still have some democracy left. you don't have to call people or knock on doors if it's uncomfortable. But you can help your local rep/senator in other ways.

I stuff envelopes. I have a sign in my yard. I try to be informed. if someone asks why I like my person (Mike Levin, CA 49) I try to give some honest answers why. in my case, Mike LISTENS. he cares what his constituents think. He hosts backyard meet n greets and actually answers questions and listens. he supports protecting the environment. etc etc. and.... it's very hard.... but I try not to say anything that the listener might misunderstand as criticism of how they voted!!! they are very defensive.

(I am so tired of hearing that they HAD to vote for TRAMP because they could NOT vote for crooked Hillary. REALLY????? how brain washed can you get. no, I don't say that to them, it just replays in my brain)

I have a bumper sticker on my golf cart!! I am a little afraid to put one on my car. how sad is that. there are some very angry, violent people in Trump's camp.
