why gun owners would object to better regulations. If they are legal responsible gun owners, (I have been one), what is wrong with background checks, and restrictions for mentally ill? No-one wants to remove guns from responsible owners. Why would they object to making things safer?? We can't avoid all the crazies getting guns, but we can make a dent on the problem! I agree with those poor high school kids. DO SOMETHING. I am tired of gridlock. I wish they all had to vote independently and were not allowed to blindly follow their parties.
