There exists only the present instant... a Now which always and without end is itself new. There is no yesterday nor any tomorrow, but only Now, as it was a thousand years ago and as it will be a thousand years hence. ~Meister Eckhart
On our passage into next moment it can be helpful, and rewarding to pause just for a moment to reflect on the journey that has brought us to this moment.
Time is never wasted when using our idling moments to prepare for tomorrow's moment in time, in pursuit of a goal that encourages us to grow patience, leading us to endure the current moment that seems to stretch our composure to breaking point.
Tolerance is a virtue that grows out of our willingness to wait, and ponder on the thought that the rewards of our forbearance enable us to become aware that time is never in a hurry to grant us our dreams, there being a season for everything leading to a bountiful harvest.
Gratefulness is best shared with those who lack.
Habakkuk 2:3 “For still the vision awaits its appointed time; it hastens to the end—it will not lie. If it seems slow, wait for it; it will surely come; it will not delay.”

Truly I tell you, they already have their reward. 6 But when you pray, go into your inner room, shut your door, and pray to your Father, who is unseen. And your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you. 7 And when you pray, do not babble on like pagans, for they think that by their many words they will be heard.…
