Proverbs 3
5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; 6 in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.
Holy Scripture employs metaphor to illustrate a truth, that we may better understand the wisdom of its story telling genius.
The Potter, and the clay allegory assists us understand that the creative genius of human life is always present in our life's journey, inspiring us to implement its design to reveal the best in us.
It matters not how we perceive The Creator's presence, rather that we enter into a loving relationship with its living reality, with our free choice to reciprocate in kind through our interaction with other human beings.
It has been said that the noblest character is the one that is seared with the scars of suffering, having endured the pain of self denial to permit the presence of the divine mystery to reveal the nobility of human sacrifice serving the common good.
Surrender of the self into the loving care of The Saviour is a process of self discovery, renewable each day we rise into new life, clay in the hands of the divine mystery.
"There would be no sense in saying you trusted Jesus if you would not take his advice." ~C. S. Lewis
