....and wiser people so full of doubts.
~ Bertrand Russell
Faith in God is daily challenged by our insecurities, our fears, our anxieties and our doubts. No exceptions.
There will be times when we think of our faith in God as a comfort zone.
What if Our Father doesn’t want us to feel comfortable and safe?
What if our sense of comfort, and perceived safety challenges the call of The Father to experience falls, rising to fall yet again.
Our Father wants us to grow through walking the road of hard knocks, learning from all that our experiences teach us.
Doubt demolishes our hideaway obliging us to walk through life's daily travails encouraging us to seek solutions removing barriers that appear to block our path into our future. It may feel like The Father is far away, even absent when in reality doubt is a gift granted by Our Father encouraging our spiritual growth, and reliance on His wise counselling.
When our perceptions of our life's problems appear gloomy with our pessimism, and doubts inspiring us to ask Our Father for His assistance we soon begin to receive the benefits of reaching out to Our Father when declaring that we are too weak, and frail to know how best to deal with the dilemma driving us to despair....
....then, The Father intervenes with the remedy to all that has brought our life to a depressing, grinding stop.
We are not necessarily doubting that God will do the best for us; we are wondering how painful the best will turn out to be.~ C. S. Lewis
