And God is able to make all grace overflow to you,
so that, always having all sufficiency in everything,
you may have an abundance for every good deed;
When a primary school pupil I was entranced reading Daniel Defoe's, Robinson Crusoe providing me with the understanding that the marooned hero of the story was able to survive living alone on a desert island, even prospering the result of learning to be creative in the face of his separation from the rest of the human race.
I have learned, and am learning walking the road of hard knocks that our experiences falling, and rising to begin again, and again equip us with the awareness that we are being supplied with all that we will need to complete the tasks confronting us.
For many of us it arrives with a welcome surprise that when our need was greatest, a remedy presented itself as if to say, that our patience had rewarded us when least expected.
In their hearts humans plan their course,
but the Lord establishes their steps.
~ Proverbs 16:9
That perceived lucky intervention, coincidence if you wish appears in our life supplying us with the solution to our long standing dilemma, just as we were surrendering to our fear that all was lost. Chance be a fine thing were it not for Our Father intervening in our life, per His timing calculated to teach us that He is present at our side counselling us to do all that He asks of us.
Psalm 23
A psalm of David.
1 The Lord is my shepherd;
I have all that I need.
2 He lets me rest in green meadows;
he leads me beside peaceful streams.
3 He renews my strength.
He guides me along right paths,
bringing honor to his name.
4 Even when I walk
through the darkest valley,
I will not be afraid,
for you are close beside me.
Your rod and your staff
protect and comfort me.
