Never be in a hurry; do everything quietly and in a calm spirit.
Do not lose your inner peace for anything whatsoever, even if your whole world seems upset. ~ Saint Francis de Sales
There are moments when I lack the appropriate response, or right answer to a niggling problem upsetting my sense of balance, even annoying me beyond my capacity to handle with a wish to remedy my discomfort. Not possessing the panacea prompts me to sit in a comfortable chair asking Our Father, how best to cope with my dilemma. He answers me with sweet whispers ensuring that I follow His every instruction, until the moment that I cry out...thankyou, Father for your kind guidance.
My own experience teaches me daily that my pleas for help in the midst of my anxieties provides me with the road best taken, leading me to understand, and put right all that opens a path to a harmonious solution serving the common good.
We understand that our faith in God is never about disconnecting from reality, rather focused on entering into the realm of peacefulness that can only be discovered when in relationship with the Divine Mystery. When emptying oneself of any thought that we possess all the right answers to our daily challenges, we are then able to approach Our Father with the humility of a child seeking their father's counselling.
Peace cannot be kept by force; it can only be achieved by understanding. ~ Albert Einstein
King Solomon wisely informs us that there is a time for everything under the sun, advising us that patience to overflowing provides us with the necessary strength to stay the course per Our Father's directions daily whispered into our innermost thoughts.
Your own soul is nourished when you are kind; it is destroyed when you are cruel.~ Solomon
