12c I recognized that there is nothing better than to rejoice and to do well during life.
13Moreover, that all can eat and drink and enjoy the good of all their toil—this is a gift of God.
Our Father invites us to participate in His banquet, enjoying all that He provides for our life time's journey of self discovery.
The Father, over time, will test our trust in Him, asking us to share something of our excess with those He guides into our orbit.
“For to the one who pleases him God has given wisdom and knowledge and joy, but to the sinner he has given the business of gathering and collecting, only to give to one who pleases God. This also is vanity and a striving after wind.” ~ Ecclesiastes 2:26
There will be periods, even years when we will face adversity, teaching us that our growth into a wiser person accelerates during difficult times. It is during those onerous chapters that our friendship with Our Father reveals our trust following His counselling to do all that He asks of us, ensuring that during those intervals when we are being tried to breaking point, He stands at our side holding our hand..encouraging us to remain faithful to His Word living in our life.
The Book of Job is often cited as an example of patience, almost driven to despair. Job's resilience teaches humility sufficient to illustrate that in the midst of his suffering, Job remained faithful to Our Father. Job's patience was punctuated with moments filled with bitter complaints, why he was being obliged to suffer so much. Job endured learning that when he believed that he could take no more, Our Father intervened lifting him out of his pit of despair, with the remedy returning Job to his life's journey of self discovery led by The Father's loving care, and protection.
No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind.
And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear.
But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.
~ 1 Corinthians 10-13
