Do not lose your inner peace for anything whatsoever, even if your whole world seems upset.
~ Saint Francis de Sales
Our Father's timing delivering on His promises is more often, or not at odds with our own perception that the Divine Presence will fit in with our planned timing. The Prophet Job remained faithful to God, despite his often expressed frustration, and displeasure with the time it took The Father to deliver on His promises made to Job. In the process The Father daily intervened in the life of Job transforming him into the child pleasing to The Father
Never be in a hurry, despite our awareness that we should receive our perceived just desserts here, and now...believing we deserve all that we ask for from Our Father, per our timing.
Our Father is our creator, our well being His primary objective when inviting us to trust Him in all that He invites us to participate...thereby proving our trust in Him, and His plan for our life's journey of self discovery.
Patience is never about doing nothing. Patience is doing all that Our Father asks of us, while waiting patiently for all that The Father has promised us. Our patience sows the seeds of a bumper harvest, delivering to us all that The Father has promised us at the appropriate time, when Our Father determines we are ready to be rewarded.
In the spiritual dimension of our life timing is that element best left to Our Father's plan to transform us into His beloved child in anticipation of our trust, our faithfulness proving to God that we are worthy of the gifts that He is granting us. Our trust in God is never a matter of words, rather of our actions evidencing our choice to do all that The Father asks of His faithful child.
Have patience with all things, but chiefly have patience with yourself.
Do not lose courage in considering your own imperfections, but instantly set about remedying them -- every day begin the task anew.
~ St Francis De Sales
