When random acts of kindness become second nature, they go un-noticed by the practitioner,
being nothing more than a reflection of their innermost desire to treat people as if they were on the receiving end.
No act of kindness, no matter how small is ever wasted. ~ Aesop
Scripture informs us that as we sow, so shall we reap.
In other words when we invest something of our life assisting others, we reap a harvest overflowing with all that we have sown.
Always give without remembering and always receive without forgetting. ~ Brian Tracy
The cynical critic may venture to suggest that acts of kindness are wasted on those who might well interpret such actions as nothing more than the weakness of a naive, even foolish person. It may also be argued that The Father will always take note of our kind actions, sufficient to ensure that He will keep supplying us with all that we will need...being His outreach into the lives of those, who need time to understand the benefits of being on the receiving end of our acts of kindness.
We know only too well that what we are doing is nothing more than a drop in the ocean.
But if the drop were not there, the ocean would be missing something.
~ Mother Teresa
