There is always an alternative to the faith we lose.
Or is it the same faith under another mask?
~ Graham Greene
A mask provides each of us with a face that we parade before the eyes of those with whom we share our passage through time.
Time enough to ensure that the witnesses to our life's journey are rewarded with all that we believe satisfies our perceived need to persuade our neighbour...who we are, or are not.
Our insecurities surface rapidly when faced with those inspirational moments bubbling from within our thoughts,
into our conscious awareness inviting us to do this, not that.
Our doubts encourage us to think slowly, and carefully over those actions that we believe will best serve our interest.
Taking time to mull over our proposed course of action will often lead us to reconsider, even abandon our original plans. That moment of doubt can also be understood to be the timely arrival of a valuable seed growing us into making the decision leading us where The Father wants us to go.
There is much to be said for doubt, there being an understanding that our sense of timing can assume precedence, over the life that we are attempting to construct to reveal The Father's design serving our well being. That inner voice enlightening our path will interrupt our well laid plans, daring to show us the error of our ways, even the ruinous result should we proceed with our original plan.
Doubt may well be the life saver, and helpful meddler, interrupting our thoughts with a willingness to assist us make decisions that are life affirming.
Faith is the bird that feels the light when the dawn is still dark. ~ Rabindranath Tagore
When in doubt rely upon your innermost inspiration, with the understanding that sound reasoning is the gift of the divine presence, totally aware of the result that He invites us to construct when following His word creating our life's journey.
When doubts surface the wise choose the path signalling the presence of the source of our very being, guiding around our self imposed destructive behaviour into a future filled with all that The Father fashions for our well being.
In faith there is enough light for those who want to believe and enough shadows to blind those who don't. ~ Blaise Pascal
