“Therefore, do not throw away your confidence, which has a great reward.
For you have need of endurance, so that when you have done the will of God, you may receive what was promised.”
Our self worth is predictably tested to breaking point when facing overwhelming odds designed to grow us out of our lethargy that all will be well when standing idly expecting the storm to pass without any effort on our part. Our choices determine our fate, destined to present us with all that we invest in our life's journey.
“Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.”
~ Hebrews 4:16
I am often asked how shall I know when it is God's will to do this, rather than that to resolve all that is troubling me into a state of high anxiety.
Our interior life will invite us to remain patient while He guides us through our troubling periods, teaching us to trust Him to shelter us from all harm rewarding us with the remedy to all that ails us. Patience provides us with the timing necessary to restore our confidence within the plan that Our Father constructs to lead us where He wants us to be.
“For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love, and self-discipline.” ~ 2 Timothy 1:7
We are invited to maintain our trust in Our Father's Word inspiring us to never surrender to our fear of failure no matter how gloomy our day appears, leading us out of darkness into light.
“The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and he helps me. My heart leaps for joy, and with my song I praise him.”
