I quote:
By your perseverance you will secure your lives

Ones interpretation of today's readings may well speak to how we view the daily challenges confronting our life.
End times scenarios are a frequent reminder when listening to the evening news addressing war, famine, and disaster around the globe. Whereas it is our response to the arrival on our doorstep of troubles trying our patience to exhaustion that should encourage us to ask Our Father for His intervention leading us to a remedy for all that ails us.
Remaining patient, and focused on resolving the matter causing so much angst reflects our choice never to surrender to our fear of failing to defeat all that threatens our well being.
Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened. Or which one of you, if his son asks him for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a serpent? If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask him!
