Wise sages inform us that today is all we have to celebrate that which we have worth living for.
Clinging to the past can elicit moments of solace, and regret that carries over into influencing the decisions we make today. That which is done, cannot be undone merely referenced to ensure that we grasp the lesson we needed. There are times when people enter our life teaching us how best to let go of that which has been anchoring us into our yesterdays. Those signposts are provided for our well being that we may recognise the benefits of life's ongoing experiences directing us to focus on today.
18 “Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. ~ Isaiah 43
In our moments of reflection memories of people, and places emerge to inform us that they serve a purpose providing us with joy, encouraging us to move forward making new memories.
31 Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice.
32 Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.
~ Ephesians 41
