Fretting over the time it takes for our aspirations to be realised, despite our daily efforts resulting in what appears to be no progress can lead us into a frustrating belief that we will fail to realise our objective.
Our progress towards realising our goals is not just about the ultimate aim, when learning from our life's daily lessons that we are day, by day growing into a wiser person better able to cope with, and overcome those challenges arriving on our doorstep with an impatience to grow us out of our frustrations.
“The Lord is good to those whose hope is in him, to the one who seeks him;
it is good to wait quietly for the salvation of the Lord.”
~Lamentations 3:25-26
In our impatience to get things done according to our understandings, we neglect to recognise that Our Father has His plans for us, well established to ensure that we learn lessons transforming us into the person reflecting the presence of The Saviour leading us through our life's journey of self discovery.
For the revelation awaits an appointed time; it speaks of the end and will not prove false.
Though it linger, wait for it; it will certainly come and will not delay.
