Remember the former things, those of long ago; I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is none like me.
I make known the end from the beginning, from ancient times, what is still to come.
I say, ‘My purpose will stand, and I will do all that I please.’

Each of us has a story to tell of that chance, or coincidence, or synchronistic accident alerting us to a life changing event, or more.
Fortuitous chance delivering us good news is often perceived to be nothing more than our turn to be on the receiving end of good luck.
The curious person will question why they are being singled out receiving that which intrigues them.
Serendipity has its way of enticing us to question the reason for our good fortune. Why, me?
The matter of ones fate, or destiny is predictably understood to be the result of our decisions.
When a pattern begins to emerge there is the awareness that we have been selected. By what, or whom?
I am one not to ask too many questions, preferring to grab the bull by the horns,
cooperating with that which is influencing me to go with the flow.
In him we have obtained an inheritance, having been predestined according to the purpose of him who works all things according to the counsel of his will. ~ Ephesians 1:11
Our cooperation with The Father invites us to become His travelling companion,
with our free choice to discuss, and question all the counselling entering our conscious understandings.
In other words we are expected to doubt, and inquire that we may learn that the divine presence is our greatest friend protecting us from our self destructive behaviour, and from all harm whatever the source.
I was asked this morning whether our trust, and acting on Our Father's guidance reduced us to zombie status.
Our doubts register our faith, sufficient for Our Father to explain to us in great detail all that He asks of us, that we may learn that God's friends are loved the result of wanting to know the reasons for The Father's guidance on any given matter.
Curiosity has its way of opening doors when we make the effort to question why we are on the receiving of good fortune, having endured years of empty living, until a day arrived when providence knocked on our door asking for entry. Much will be asked of us, receiving sufficiency to undertake all the tasks required of us, following The Saviour's plan becoming His outreach into the lives of people needing divine assistance.
Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above,
coming down from the Father of lights with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change. ~ James 1:17
