Ratzinger said somewhere that the Christian faith is not a set of propositions or lofty ideas or moral choices but is primarily a love affair.
In total agreement with that I really have little interest in eschatological sticks or carrots.
Albeit a bit lofty, JDW's work on Christology has been a bit of a revelation to me, and a boon to my prayer life. I was hoping this might possibly be so for others too, that's all.
