I quote:
"And I tell you, ask and you will receive;
seek and you will find;
knock and the door will be opened to you.
For everyone who asks, receives;
and the one who seeks, finds;

Faith in God's Grace assisting us whenever we face hardships that come near to overwhelming our capacity to cope, encourages us to remain patient learning that Our Father's intercession in our life will be enacted according to His timing.
Today's readings invite us to ask for help from Our Father in the face of deep, and distressing misfortune. Asking in faith for assistance, is our free choice to believe that The Father will intervene to help us. God's timing, and our understanding of time may well not be in sync. The Divine Mystery will intervene when He chooses, that we may understand that His mediation in our troubles will produce a result benefiting us beyond our earlier expectations.
Our faith in Our Father's intervention in our life, evidences our belief that God's love for us will lead us out of our troubles, into peaceful waters enabling our faith in God to deepen.
"We need no wings to go in search of Him, but have only to look upon Him present within us."
~ Teresa of Avila
