I quote:
We are witnesses of all that he did
both in the country of the Jews and in Jerusalem.
They put him to death by hanging him on a tree.
This man God raised on the third day and granted that he be visible,
not to all the people, but to us,
the witnesses chosen by God in advance,
who ate and drank with him after he rose from the dead.
end quote
Jesus' apostles were not just surprised by His resurrection, they were terrified by His presence. The resurrected Jesus undestood their fears, consoling them with words assisting them accept Him as living proof of The Father's intervention.
This video clip includes a deleted early scene revealing an ethereal Jesus not recorded in Holy Scripture.. There is no doubt that Jesus' close pals, and followers witnessed His presence among them confidently eating, and drinking with them. Thomas the Doubter chose to touch the body of Jesus thereby removing any doubt that Jesus was present in the flesh, and was not an apparition.
