Hope proves man deathless. It is the struggle of the soul, breaking loose from what is perishable, and attesting her eternity. ~ Henry Melvill
Hope is a constant theme throughout Holy Scripture revealing as it does the dreams of the human person, daring to go beyond the limitations that rational thought imposes on those yearning to break free from their fear, that Our Father does not deliver on His promises.
"But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint." ~ Isaiah 40:31
We understand from walking the road of hard knocks that our words must be matched by our actions, otherwise we are left with good intentions lacking the necessary motivation, to enact all that our dreams are encouraging us to create.
And by faith even Sarah, who was past childbearing age, was enabled to bear children because she considered him faithful who had made the promise. ~ Hebrews 11:11
Abraham and Sarah were elderly when Sarah was pregnant. There was no natural way possible that they could conceive a child. Abraham exclaims, “Shall a child be born to a man who is a hundred years old? Shall Sarah, who is ninety years old, bear a child?” (Genesis 17:17) She did — and named him Isaac, which means “laughter.”
Hope through faith in God's promises is never limited by time, as we understand the passage of our time having its influence on our physical being. For those of us who believe in the influence of dreams upon our life, and future well being there is the awareness that Our Father honors all that He promises us. In return we are invited to do all that He asks of us. This reciprocation evidences the unbreakable Covenant established by The Father, His gift for all His faithful children.
Matthew 19:26.....But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.
