There are moments when I will occasionally look over my shoulder wondering who, or what provided me with that ounce of inspiration to walk the extra mile towards realising my dream. Even the dream appeared to pour into my awareness, as if a seed had been planted to grow into its purpose.
Affliction comes to us, not to make us sad but sober; not to make us sorry but wise. ~ H. G. Wells
None of us welcome troubles fraught with anxiety calculated to deny us a sound night's sleep, leaving us floundering in a sea of discontent. Then that moment arrives when a flash of inspiration opens a door, towards realising the remedy to all that had been troubling us into depression.
26 But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things
and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you. ~ John 14:26
I've learned from long experience that asking Our Father for assistance during difficult periods, provides me with the understanding that His guidance will in His good time, grant me all that He determines will serve His purpose for my life.
God's perfect timing does two things: It grows our faith as we are forced to wait and trust in God and it makes certain that He, and He alone, gets the glory and praise for pulling us through. "My times are in Your hands ..." Psalm 31:15.
