1 Blessed are those whose ways are blameless,
who walk according to the law of the Lord.
2 Blessed are those who keep his statutes
and seek him with all their heart—
3 they do no wrong
but follow his ways
This afternoon over coffee I was asked by one of our Portuguese visitors, what if I decide not to keep following the guidance of my inner life.
Our Father has His way of watching over us with the love of a parent focused on providing the remedy addressing our concerns, and our fears driving us in another direction. Our life's teaching lessons include falling, to rise with the helping hand of Our Saviour outstreched returning us to His path on our life's journey of self discovery.
Walking steadily by faith, not by sight we will be able to overcome those fears that attempt to divert us from the path designed by Our Father for our benefit. God's guidance is always rational, for He sees all that we will encounter on our life's journey until its completion.
20 My son, give attention to my words;
Incline your ear to my sayings.
21 Do not let them depart from your sight;
Keep them in the midst of your heart.
22 For they are life to those who find them
And health to all their body.
