– Dietrich Bonhoeffer
Living in the moment should include appreciating life's lessons teaching us all that will prepare us for even more rewarding experiences, waiting over the horizon encouraging us to grow out of our easy choice to live without valuing the assignments that life provides for our well being.
Being grateful for our life's teaching experiences may well inspire us to embrace the thought that Our Father's love for us includes providing us with the remedies to all that challenges our frustrations, and moments of anger per His timing, and not according to our expectations.
“Thankfulness is the beginning of gratitude.
Gratitude is the completion of thankfulness.
Thankfulness may consist merely of words.
Gratitude is shown in acts.”
– Henri Frederic Amiel
Patience is its own reward growing our resilience to all that life sends us, better preparing us for the next challenge encouraging us to be thankful for every task that life sends us for our development into a better human person. In other words, even in those moments when our life appears to be facing overwhelming trials, asking Our Father for assistance opens a door to the solution.
“If you concentrate on finding whatever is good in every situation,
you will discover that your life will suddenly be filled with gratitude, a feeling that nurtures the soul.”
— Rabbi Harold Kushner
