There are no deadlines against which he must work.
Only to know this is to quiet our spirits and relax our nerves.”
~ A.W. Tozer
Taking our time is the awareness that time is never a factor in God's plan for our life. Our Father invites us not to worry over the time it takes for His promises to reveal themselves in our life. The Prophet Job fretted over the time it was taking for The Father's promises to Job, to come to fruition. Job's resilience grew day, by day enabling him to develop skills providing him with the remedies to the challenges attempting to conquer his resolve to maintain his trust in The Father's guidance in all matters. Job overcame his easy willingness to surrender to his fears, when learning that his life's experiences were equipping him with the capability to fix all that was driving him into deep depression. Job's anxiety withered into his past when understanding that the solutions to all his problems were being supplied by The Father.
Job's faith in God deepened day, by day.
At the right time, God will provide your need. At the right time, God will deliver you. At the right time, God will rescue you. ~ Psalm 31:15.
Our Father tests our trust in His Word leading us through the trials, and tribulations that beset every human person without exception...
...when we do, all that is asked of us. Sacrifice of self to serve The Father's requests may not sit well with those of us (you, and me) who are asked to share the little we have, with those who have much less. It is in those moments of great sacrifice that our trust in God's leadership is tested to near breaking point.
Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. ~ Galatians 6:9
