I quote:
Gracious is the LORD and just;
yes, our God is merciful.

I'm a patient listener, particularly when in dialogue with someone who also listens to me with patience, and understanding sufficient to offer me advice assisting me deal effectively with what ever is troubling me at that moment.
To be friends with God means to pray with simplicity, like children talking to their parents. ~ Pope Francis
Holy Scripture invites us to enter our inner room, otherwise speak with our interior self.
It also helps when we are alone to express our thoughts without fear of being overhead by a third party. Our Father invites us to speak openly about our troubles, fears, hopes, and dreams. He, in His turn, asks us to listen too, and follow His advice. Our Father may also ask us to walk slowly, when reminding us that there is a time for everything.
In his tortoise, and the hair tale Aesop teaches us to be mindful that timing is not the essential factor, when striving for the goal that our dreams invite us to patiently work towards realising.
At times we can be self-absorbed. Lord, help us to open our hearts to others and to serve those who are most vulnerable.~ Pope Francis
Today's reading invites each of us to be aware of the needs of the person entering our orbit by what appears to be chance, or possibly by design encouraging us to share something of our excess. God speaks to us through His avenues sometimes within our deepest thoughts, other times by intuitive signals waking us out of our sleep walking, and also in plain voice obliging us to look behind us with a wish to recognise the person who had spoken to us with crystal clear clarity.
Our Father is always ready to listen anytime we are ready to speak with Him.
Chatting with Our Father becomes a dialogue, when we choose to embrace His presence in our life, doing all that He asks of us.
In the silence of the heart God speaks. If you face God in prayer and silence, God will speak to you. Then you will know that you are nothing. It is only when you realize your nothingness, your emptiness, that God can fill you with Himself. Souls of prayer are souls of great silence."
~ Mother Teresa
